Registration & Payment
All students taking AP exams in May 2021 have registered through the College Board website. Wayland High School offers Wayland High School students who are enrolled in AP courses at Wayland High the opportunity to test here. Due to the global pandemic, lack of spaces for testers to be six feet apart, and the difficulty in finding and training proctors, this year we will not offer exams for classes we do not teach.
We try to accommodate our students who want to take a test we offer even if they are not enrolled in the class. Due to space constraints and the number of students registering for AP classes, this might not always be possible.
Fees: The cost to take each exam is $100. The College Board charges students who qualify for free or reduced lunch a reduced fee of $62 per exam. Please note that Physics: Electricity and Physics: Mechanical are two separate tests and each costs $100.
Fees are due by Friday, November 13 and should be paid online at this site:
https://unipaygold.unibank.com/transactionInfo.aspx?CustomerID=1044&TransID=14250
The exam schedule is linked here. More information about test day will be sent to students in April. At this time, the College Board has no plans to offer the exams remotely. Last year was an exception. Of course, all this may change. We will keep you informed.
Further information for parents from the College Board about AP courses is linked here.
If you have any questions, please contact Joanne Schmidt at joanne_schmidt@waylandps.org.
